Introduction
Before we guide you through the process of activating a licence, we would like to thank you for your interest and welcome you to CrewPlanner!
During your trial period, you can already experience how CrewPlanner can resolve your planning challenges and difficulties. However, once you decide that we are the solution for you, thanks to our partnership with Stripe, you can activate and manage your licence yourself and you are ready to start planning!
When can I activate my licence
As soon as your free trial starts, you will have 14 days to experience what CrewPlanner has to offer. During this period, you will also be able to benefit from our extensive support articles to learn more about the full functionalities of CrewPlanner, which can be found in our Crew Academy.
However, you don't have to wait until the end of your trial period to join the CrewPlanner family, you can activate and start your licence at any time during this period. However, if you want to continue using CrewPlanner, you should take the following steps.
Complete your billing details
Once you have decided that CrewPlanner is the solution for you, you must first ensure that your billing details are completed before you can activate your licence. This is because without this information, you will not be able to select a licence plan and you will be shown the message No billing details entered yet on the LICENSE page in SETTINGS:
Note, you can complete your billing details at any point during your trial, you will not be charged until you have selected a plan and activated your license.
To complete this information, you either select Fill in in the billing details section of the LICENSE page, or you navigate directly to the GENERAL page in SETTINGS.

On this page you can also select the contract types you require and set your corporate identity.
Finally, select SAVE to save or implement your changes.
How to activate the right package
Now you are ready to choose a package and activate your license. To assist you in choosing the right package for you and your organisation, take a look at our pricing page and compare our available plans. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our sales team at [email protected]. Not to worry, you can upgrade or downgrade your licence at any time.

When you are ready to proceed, log on and navigate to the LICENSE page in SETTINGS where you will be able to select the right plan for your team.
Once you have selected your plan, you will be redirected to our partner Stripe where you can choose your preferred payment option.
For instance, if you choose Essential you will see the following:
Once again, complete the required information and create your Stripe account by selecting Subscribe. This will allow you to self-service your CrewPlanner account and automate invoice payments.
Once subscribed, you will return to the CrewPlanner license page. This will now display the details of your activated plan and the number of managers, how much and when you will be invoiced, your billing details and your payment method. You can always return to this page to change your plan or amend your billing details.
CrewTip! The activation of your license will be invoiced and charged immediately. Any changes to your package will be settled on the following invoice. Invoices are created and charged monthly on the day of the original activation of your license, unless add-ons have been purchased. These are invoiced and charged immediately and will include any changes to your package up until that date.

If my trail period ends, will I automatically be charged a license fee?
No, you will not be charged until you have selected a plan which suits your needs and have activated your license.
I did not receive an email to activate my CrewPlanner account.
