When you come across an address field in CrewPlanner, you will notice that as soon as you start entering an address here, a number of suggestions will appear. You will also see “powered by Google” at the bottom right.
This link with Google always checks whether the address you entered is correct or known. This way your employees are also immediately informed through the app where the job will take place and they can even start a routeplanner straight from our application!
As soon as you start entering an address, Google will show you a dropdown with some suggestions of known addresses.
As soon as you have selected the address you are looking for, a little map will appear on which a red pointer indicates the selected location.
Messages and solutions
If you do not enter a complete address or the address has an addition that is not supported by Google Maps, you receive a message.
To complete the address, just add the number in the address field or for additions select the pencil icon which you will find on the right of the address field.
Once you have selected the pencil, a pop-up will appear EDIT ADDRESS, in which you can enter the desired addition. Once everything is completed, click on UPDATE to save.
CrewTip! If you want to change an address, always type the new address in the address field and select one of the options offered. Use the pencil icon only for additions like floors or bus numbers.
Help! Google Maps does not know the address
It is possible that a fairly new street is not yet known by Google Maps. This is no problem. If you report this via Google support, you will be able to enter the desired address correctly in CrewPlanner once confirmed.
