Export your employees' hours worked and absences and upload them to SD Worx eBlox Payroll.

Introduction

With the SD Worx eBlox Payroll integration you can generate an export file with a single click, which you can then upload to SD Worx eBlox Payroll. This ensures that your employees' hours worked are processed correctly.


What can you export

The export is formatted with two performance codes:

  • 1010: Employee's normal hours worked

  • 1025: Employee's night hours (00:00 - 05:00)

The number of night hours worked (1025) is subtracted from the total number of hours worked (1010).


Activate the integration

To activate the integration with SD Worx eBlox Payroll, go to SETTINGS and then to INTEGRATIONS. Here you select SD WORX eBlox Payroll:

After this, the integration opens:

Select ENABLE to configure the integration:

Enter the following details here:

  1. Employer number: as known to SD Worx.

  2. Statutes: in this dropdown, tick the statutes for which you wish to use the integration.

  3. Unavailable codes: here you can set the codes you use to indicate unavailability that is not due to illness or holiday.

  4. Holiday codes: here you can set the codes you use to indicate unavailability for the different types of holiday.

  5. Illness codes: finally, set the codes here to indicate unavailability due to illness.

  6. Select SAVE to save and activate your settings.

For example:

0400: (0400) Statutory leave


Assign employee numbers to your employees

To correctly match employee data with SD Worx eBlox Payroll, you must ensure that the employee number as known to SD Worx is entered in the employee profile. Open the edit view of an employee profile and you will find the employee number field at the top right.

If this field is not filled in the employee profile, you will receive an error message when creating your SD Worx eBlox payroll export, requesting you to complete this field.


Where can you enter availability information

Once your integration with SD Worx eBlox payroll is active, you can enter the necessary availability information via the EMPLOYEES page.

To do this, select work schedule mode on this page, which will give you the option to enter availability as described in detail here. However, you will notice that once the integration has been activated, you have an extra field when entering this availability in which you can select the appropriate code via a dropdown:

The options in this dropdown are determined by your choice of availability as well as by the information you entered when configuring the integration.


Create the export document

On the REPORT page, you have the option to generate an export document with one push of a button to upload both availability and time registrations of your employees to SD Worx eBlox payroll.

After activating the integration, you will find the additional option SD WORX EBLOX PAYROLL in the EXPORT dropdown at the top of the page.

Selecting this will create an export document containing both availability and time registrations. You can find this file in the download folder on your computer and upload it to SD Worx eBlox payroll.
